
Irma Kuci

Irma Kuci is a TESOL Coordinator and Lecturer at the Adelaide Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT). She is an experienced language educator, teacher trainer, curriculum developer, and researcher, with extensive experience in teaching English as a foreign and second language, teacher training, and curriculum development in both ELICOS and higher education settings.
Irma is particularly interested in language education and language teacher development. Currently a PhD candidate at Flinders University, her research in Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) in education focuses on analyzing English language teaching and learning in Italy. Her work explores how commercial ELT (English Language Teaching) textbooks support students’ communicative skills development and meaning-making potential, aiming to inform curriculum developers and textbook designers to enhance language learning outcomes.
