Adelaide Institute of Business & Technology (AIBT) is a Registered Training Organisation with the goal of providing a variety of pathways to students who want to pursue further study or upskill. Our courses are all nationally accredited with diploma and graduate diploma programs directly linking students towards Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Universities across Australia. Our students are from both domestic and international backgrounds.

AIBT is a member of the Adelaide Education Group (AEG). AEG has been in operation for 12 years, delivering quality education and producing graduates from different backgrounds. We have international partnerships with overseas networks in China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

We offer face-to-face class attendance and self-paced study supported by online course materials.

Self-paced is only applicable to domestic students. All international students are required to attend face-to-face classes as part of their attendance for visa requirements unless the student is still offshore.

Class timetables are divided into Morning and Afternoon sessions:

Morning session            9:30am – 1:00pm
Afternoon session         1:30pm – 5:00pm

Most classes are delivered during weekdays.

Failing a unit does not automatically stop you from continuing to progress in your course. You will need to repeat that failed unit while working on the other units in a full study load.

Students must maintain a minimum level of academic progress in their course, and different courses have different requirements for this progress.

There are 4 intakes in a year which start from February for term 1, April for term 2, July for term 3, and October for term 4. There are also rolling intakes, every Monday, for English for Academic Purposes students that allow students to undertake study while waiting for a new term to begin.

Yes, most of the courses that we offer that are on the STL list can also be delivered under a training contract. If you are an employer or currently unemployed and you want to do a traineeship, you can contact MEGT. MEGT is an Apprenticeship Network Provider who can help employers, current and new employees and people looking for traineeship to create training contracts and refer to RTOs who can deliver your preferred courses. Upfront Assessment of Need (UAN) is designed for students eligible in doing subsidised accredited courses. This is to improve the retention and completion rate of students undertaking trainings. This also assesses the student’s suitability in taking the course and the support that the student might need.

For more information, please speak with your school coordinator as they can provide you with the register list of courses that we can offer and can start with the VETRO process.  Courses under Stackable VET and FIPs will be available from January 2022.

If you are unwell you need to contact Student Services team and your trainer to let them know you cannot attend your class. We also need you to provide us with a medical certificate to record you as excused for the day/s you are unwell.

If you need personal leave from class for an extended period, we will meet with you and adjust your study plan. If you are studying under a student visa, extended absence from your course may impact your visa.
